1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Summit APC Academy website (summitapcacademy.com) and the services we provide. By using our website or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Summit APC Academy is an independent APC training provider. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to Summit APC Academy.
2. Our Services
We provide the following services:
- APC practical and technical lectures (live and recorded)
- APC Counsellor, Submissions Review, Mock Interviews, and Training Programmes
- Mock interviews with qualified assessors
- Submissions review and feedback
- Bespoke question packs
- CPD workshops
- Real estate CV writing and review services
- LinkedIn profile optimisation
All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.
3. Pricing and Payment
Prices for our services are displayed on our website and are subject to change. All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
- Payment is required in advance of service delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing
- We accept payment by bank transfer and other methods as communicated at the time of booking
- Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable
- Payment plans may be available for certain programmes; terms will be agreed individually
4. Booking and Cancellation
Booking confirmation: Your booking is confirmed once we have received full payment and sent you a written confirmation by email.
Cancellation by you:
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the service start date will receive a full refund
- Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the service start date will receive a 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the service start date are non-refundable
- For mentorship programmes, cancellation terms will be set out in your individual mentorship agreement
Cancellation by us: If we need to cancel a service, we will offer you an alternative date or a full refund.
5. Refund Policy
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation request being approved. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
We do not offer refunds for:
- Recorded webcast access once login credentials have been issued
- Bespoke question packs once delivered
- CV writing services once the first draft has been delivered
- Services that have been fully delivered
6. Free Consultation
Summit APC Academy offers a free 15-minute APC consultation to prospective candidates. By submitting the consultation intake form, you agree to provide accurate information about your professional background and APC journey. We reserve the right to decline consultation requests that do not meet our qualifying criteria. No payment is required to book or attend a consultation.
7. Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, unless the service has already been fully performed with your prior express consent.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and in our training materials, including text, graphics, logos, course content, question packs, and recorded webcasts, is the intellectual property of Summit APC Academy unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.
Materials provided as part of our services are for your personal use only and must not be shared with, distributed to, or resold to third parties.
9. No Guarantee of Results
While we are committed to providing high-quality APC training and support, we cannot guarantee that you will pass your APC assessment. Success depends on many factors including your individual preparation, experience, and performance on the day. Our services are designed to support and enhance your preparation, not to guarantee a specific outcome.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses
- We are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on our training content as a substitute for your own professional judgement
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Confidentiality
We treat all personal information and details shared during mentorship sessions, mock interviews, and submissions reviews as confidential. We will not share your information with third parties except as required to deliver our services or as set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Code of Conduct
When using our services, you agree to:
- Treat all staff, mentors, and fellow candidates with respect
- Not share, copy, or distribute training materials to others
- Attend scheduled sessions on time or notify us of any changes
- Provide honest and accurate information in your communications with us
We reserve the right to terminate services without refund in cases of serious or repeated breaches of this code of conduct.
13. Website Use
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- Use the website in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website
- Use any automated means to access or interact with the website
14. Third-Party Links
Our website contains links to external websites including RICS, social media platforms, and other resources. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these external sites.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our website or services after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
Summit APC Academy operates internationally with consultants based across multiple jurisdictions including Zimbabwe, the UAE, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the client is based at the time of purchasing our services.
In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, either party may pursue formal dispute resolution in a mutually agreed jurisdiction.
